Lara Henderson, Full time Lecturer at CVPA hosts an artist talk with Scott Listfield, to be held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30pm. Scott will be discussing how to build your audience through online resources and social media. He will also discuss his paintings, murals and art/design career.
Bio: Scott Listfield is known for his paintings featuring a lone exploratory astronaut lost in a landscape cluttered with pop culture icons, corporate logos, and tongue-in-cheek science fiction references. A longtime resident of Massachusetts, Scott now lives in Los Angeles where he works full time as a painter. He has exhibited his work in galleries around the world, including recent solo shows in Los Angeles, London, Chicago, San Francisco, and Montreal. He has recently branched out into mural painting, and the first book on his work premiered at Art Basel in Miami last year. Although his main focus nowadays is on his art career, he also worked full time as a designer for 15 years, most recently at Twitter.
